A two-piece time document about the turbulent and obstinate life of Belgian Michelin star-chef Piet Huysenytruyt.
‘Book 1’ is an integral fascimile re-edition of the book that was published in 1997. At that time, the book astonished because of the visionary recipes and the radical images of Tony Le Duc. It was designated as ‘photographic foodporn'.
‘Book 2’ tells about identity, teamwork, respect, frustrations and the down to earth approach of the star-chef. In the new recipes, some combinations and ingredients date from the earlier days and clearly link with Book 1.
